My name is Aileen Hannan, and I co-own SortMyBooks with my sister Anne. We are based in Killarney. 

I have been self-employed in Ireland since 1997 ish, in the areas of Computer Services and Systems Design and Programming. Since 2000, I have been in business with my sister providing SortMyBooks Financial Control software and training to other self-employed people. My experience can help other self-employed people avoid some of the screw-ups I made. Not all, but some.

I love what I do now, because I regularly get to meet a roomful of other business owners, I teach them what I know, and unfailingly I learn something new at the same time.

I have a hunch that this blog will be about the things I have learned and the things other people have passed on to me.
